Cleaning out my closet this week, I didn’t want to say farewell to many fall outfits I WILL be wearing next season. Here’s the deal about Texas weather: 80 degree weather can drop into the 40’s in a matter of hours. (Hello, last Sunday!). Tomorrow night is supposed to be 51 degrees. WACKY! There is not 4 seasons here; it consists of HOT-COLD. So, amidst all the adorable spring rompers, tan limbs, and bare mid-riffs donning the Insta runway, I’m throwing a curve ball and posting one last cool weather outfit that I won’t be getting rid of yet. This is my ‘goodbye-I’ll-be-back-soon’ outfit because it’s effortless and timeless. It can literally be worn 200 days out of a year, and that, my dear, is a reliable look; Heck, you may just find me wearing it this week when we have one last cool spell. This bi-polar weather is on its way out, and the heat bully will be here before you know it. I know, because the mosquitos are starting to emerge. Have I mentioned I had West Nile years ago? That makes for a good post, eh?)
I am obsessed with crocheted knit sweaters-small holes, large gaps, cardigans, and patterns–it’s the texture and airiness that does is for me. Plus, it fits in perfectly with this cool weather outfit!

*Update-I DID wear this sweater yesterday to NASCAR race @Texas Motor Speedway.
