You probably own about a dozen pairs of jeans already — why not use them to accentuate your style? Even if you feel like an expert, it’s always fun to play with new looks.
So, are you all about high-rise or low-rise jeans? Have you tried on anything wide-legged or skinny yet? Do you prefer your jeans long or cropped? It’s all about finding a balance between what you like and what expresses your true personality.
The 10 most stylish jeans for women
High-Rise
Dress high-rise jeans up or down to mix up your wardrobe. They pair perfectly with booties, heels, and sandals and work with nearly any pattern: animal print, floral, or solids.
Low-Rise
Low-rise jeans stop before the waist and are perfect for casual evening looks and social engagements. They look great with a cute t-shirt and some comfy sneakers.
Bootcut
Bootcut jeans flare out starting at the knees, so they’re comfortable to wear on busy, active days. Unlike skinny jeans, they fall over your boots instead of being tucked inside. They’re great with heeled boots, especially, and layered tops.
Straight-Leg
These jeans are a timeless classic that work with just about everything. I like to wear mine with a few interesting accessories to spruce it up. Depending on the length, I either pair them with heels, heeled booties, or even my favorite flats and sneakers.
Wide-Leg
These jeans are so much fun to wear in the spring and summer. They can look super elegant in a darker wash, too, especially with a cute belt. Or you can wear them dressed down with a pair of sandals and a form-fitting tee.
Skinny
Skinny jeans are extremely versatile, so they pair with just about anything in your wardrobe. I like to tuck mine into tall boots and add a layered top. But they look just as amazing when I wear flat sandals and a cozy sweater.
Boyfriend
When I feel like being super casual, I search for my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans. They look great with sneakers or sandals and can be worn with a sweater or t-shirt for relaxed fashion. These are my go-to for game day!
Flared
Flared jeans make a fashion statement all by themselves. These bell bottoms create the perfect silhouette while showcasing 70’s bohemian style. I wear mine with a pair of high-heeled boots, flat sandals, or wedges when I’m in the mood for a 5-star vintage look.
Sailor
Sailor-cut jeans are unique and fun, with wide legs and big buttons. I like to pair mine with some pointed-toed shoes and a fitted top for a whimsical style.
Cigarette
Cigarette-cut jeans aren’t quite skinny but aren’t exactly straight-legged either. And because they usually stop just above the ankle, I like to wear mine with mules, slides, or lace-up booties for a more tailored vibe.
**
Keep in mind that some of the best jean styles are a mixture of several different cuts combined. For example, one of my favorite pairs for the summer is a high-rise, skinny crop that looks amazing with some strappy wedges. So, don’t be afraid to get creative with your denim fashions because that’s what it’s all about.
